Congestion & Cough
Please pray as I go to the doctor today for my weekly checkup. While it is mostly to see how my blood counts are to see if I need a transfusion tomorrow, I have developed over the last couple of days a rather nasty cough and some conjestion in my chest. This is always a concern for me, having had pneumonia twice in the last two years. Hopefully, it's minor, but we do need to kep our eye on it. So your prayers would be appreciated , especially that the doctors would be able to identify exactly what it is and is not.

I can't express what a blessing it is to read your blog, as well as your VOMC material.
I've only met you and Denita a few times, once at Elim Lodge several years ago, and once at a VOMC conference in Mississauga - but I feel like I know the best part of you both.
I had a family member go through a very serious mental health crisis from 2004 to 2008, and I believe there are many things we would not have learned about God were it not for that situation, as difficult as it was to go through, so I can relate to you saying He has used your situation to bring you to your place of contentment.
Our momentary light afflictions certainly don't seem momentary or light at times - but imagine the glory that He is using them to produce for eternity!
I'm thankful for you.
