I’m not feeling well

bouncingball I have to admit it, the last couple of weeks I haven’t been feeling well. Tired, short of breath, my attention span wanders.  I am noticing that, like a ball, each time I hit the floor, I don’t seem to bounce back quite as high as I did the time before.  The cracking of my ribs set me back and I am not bouncing back to where I was before that even though my ribs no longer hurt.  Guess I am finding a new normal…

Glenn, I can certainly relate to a little of what you're experiencing (obviously on a much smaller scale). A New Normal has to do with recognizing one's "capacity" and being comfortable with it. It's not always an easy place to be in if we don't also recognize that God in His own way is also changing and reducing what He is calling us to be/do. This is especially true for those of us who have received much of our feeling of "value" from what we do. I sense that you working through these issues in positive ways and will continue to pray that you receive the strength and courage that God has for you in the days ahead. May you continue to experience His sustaining presence.

Prayers and Blessings.

Yes indeed, may His presence sustain you, His loving arms enfold you, His peace garrison your heart and His love flow ceaselessly unto you easing your pains. Lord Jesus, you are the great Physician, let your servant experience you anew even in this which you are allowing Him to go through. Minister yout grace to his wife and children too. Thank you, Lord Jesus. For even here, You can do much more than I can think or ask. Blessed be your Name forever. Amen
